  • Condition: 1) This block was manufactured with gaps where the base joins the main block. This was unfortunately very common for these blocks and very few were perfect. The gaps have since been filled with wood epoxy. Given the discrete location, the repair blends well enough to not stand out, especially when viewed from the front. 2) The block suffered damage during transit resulting in bruising to the upper corners of the face (viewed from front) and lower-right corner of the base (viewed from front). This is also very common due to poor manufacturer packaging and affects most blocks. So far as damaged blocks go, this is one of the better examples and remains presentable when kept oiled.
