Lafayette Cylinder Microscope Microtome F-442

Description

Pictured is a Lafayette Cylinder Microtome, Model F-442. I don't think it has ever been used because the razor knife is still in original factory packing and there are no scars on the top hard plastic cutting surface. All controls and movements function smoothly! The storage box is in almost pristine condition except for a thumbnail size chaffing mark in the upper left corner of the top. As can be seen in the photographs, there has been a slight bit of oxidation to the  outer top circular chrome surface and the knife has a little bit of spot discoloration. Both of these defects are minor and are consistent with storage technique and age. They do not inhibit the function of the unit. This is an extremely rare find! Thanks for looking.
