Late Victorian Mahogany Microscope Slide Storage Box & Slides

Pictured is what I think to be a Victorian Style Mahogany microscope slide storage box. The dovetail box itself is in very nice condition, however the lock is missing the key and striker plate is also missing. I would estimate that the slides and box date from about 1910 - 1920. There are 10 each individual slide boxes that can accommodate 25 slides each. As can be seen in the photograph some of the slides are missing so I estimate 180,  give or take are still there. Some of the labels indicate that they are from the pathology lab at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. I see slides labeled skin, spine, lymph glands, mussel etc. This is a rare find!  Thanks for looking.
