The Pro Balance "square" style (see our other listings for the oval style) knife block is excellent for containing various knives and other utensils. This knife block features a large array of tool slots to store all of your knives and many other utensils.
The block measures 10-5/8" tall and has a footprint of just 8-1/4" by 5-1/8", taking up very little of your valuable counter space, but organizing several tools into a much more compact and usable space.
The storage area is made up of heavy, durable, accordian-shaped polymer sheets that allow for a variety of storage arrangements.  With 14 slots (6 full-length, and 8 that are divided into two compartments, the block will hold as many as 22 knives and/or tools, and given the flexible nature of the polymer, some tools that are wider than a knife, such as scissors or shears, can also be stored in the block.
The base of the block is made from steel, and the shroud is made from aircraft grade aluminum and coated in a variety of attractive colors including Blue, Green, Red and Silver.  (Only the color mentioned in the listing title is being offered in this listing.)
These blocks are EXTREMELY well-made -- they weigh just under 6 pounds each.
